Great spot with a cozy vibe! The food was delicious and well-priced. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a casual and satisfying breakfast in the area!"

We went to Egglinton Grill today to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and once again, it was an amazing experience. Since the first time we visited, it has become our favorite breakfast spot. The service is always excellent, and they truly make the best latte in Toronto Thank you so much for the lovely cake and for singing happy birthday, you made her day even more special!

My girlfriend and I checked out Egglinton Grill for the first time, and it honestly felt like stepping into a cozy little diner from the past. The atmosphere had that classic, old-school charm — really warm and inviting. I had the two-egg and sausage breakfast, and it was the perfect size. Super satisfying and well-cooked. The pancakes were soft and not dry at all, which was a nice surprise. Only thing I wasn’t sure about was the syrup — not 100% if it was real maple or not, but still tasted good. What really made the experience special though was the owner, Steve. He’s seriously one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He was taking orders, walking around chatting with customers, and even running the ice cream counter. You can tell he really cares about the place and the people in it cause he has very competitive prices for the value of the meal you’re getting. Under 10 an entire are you kidding? Cora’s can’t compete. He even gave us a free sample of ice cream, which was such a kind touch. Honestly, little things like that go a long way. We’ll definitely be going back!

Incredible quantity of food for the price. Strong coffee. The owner(?) guy was so nice. What a hidden gem of a breakfast place. Definitely coming back.

I had the pleasure of visiting Egglinton Grill for breakfast with some friends and we really enjoyed their offerings and our chat with owner, Steve, who was very hospitable. Great guy! All the staff were very friendly! Steve gave us a little background on how this place evolved from a video rental store to a convenience store to its current incarnation as a great breakfast spot. We ordered the following dishes and it was all good, really good. • Big Grill Breakfast - 4 Eggs any style, with 2 Sausages, 2 pieces of Bacon, 2 slices of Ham, and 2 Pancakes. Served with Texas Toast, Hand Cut Home Fries, or Hand Cut Fries • Turkey Club Sandwich - Triple decker with Turkey, Bacon, Tomatoes, and Lettuce. Served with Hand Cut French Fries and Coleslaw. • Fruit and Chocolate Tower Pancakes Nutella and layers of Fresh Fruit. Before leaving, we were treated to some delicious ice cream from Kawartha Dairy. It was rich and creamy! Thank you, Steve and staff for a wonderful, breakfast! If you're near Eglinton W and Keele, you've got to try this place! 4.5/5.0

the convenience store front was a pleasant surprise! the diner itself is very cute and the food was great! the portions were bigger than we expected - we had a food coma afterwards lol our pancakes had nutella and banana on each layer of pancake. it was glorious we will definitely be returning

The food and service and the atmosphere were awesome. Friendly vibe. Good food. Good prices. Retro styles. Classic diners are hard to come by in Toronto

Video and variety store turned brunch destination! We went for brunch on Christmas Day and got a booth for 4 immediately. The server was friendly and cheerful, and everyone wore Christmas-themed hats! We had the 10.99 big grill breakfast, 13.99 steak and eggs, and 10.99 spinach and feta omelette. The food was decent all-around with nothing really standing out. The bacon was pleasantly crispy and not to the point of being crunchy, and was a bit on the greasier side but tasted good. The ham had a pleasant amount of saltiness. The sausages were cooked well with a crispy surface. The eggs were pretty typical. The home fries weren't bad, but I prefer smaller chunks and more seasoning. I was told the steaks were well cooked and had a nice texture and taste. The main selling point of this brunch spot is that it has incredible value and great people. If you want a no-frills brunch at an exceptionally low price, look no further. The people there are friendly and hard-working. The owner stopped by to ask how everything was, and we had a nice chat with him. We'll return if we're around the area for brunch again!
